Frequently asked questions
What is a purchasing agent?
A purchasing agent buys items from Chinese e-commerce platforms (Taobao, 1688, Weidian) on your behalf, QC photos them, stores them, and ships internationally.
Are these tools free?
Yes — all 103 tools are 100% free, no signup required, and run entirely in your browser.
What is SheetQuik?
SheetQuik (sheetquik.com) is a curated spreadsheet platform with 10k+ products from Taobao/1688/Weidian, searchable and categorized. We recommend it across the site.
Why do agents charge service fees?
Agents handle ordering, QC, warehousing and consolidation. Fees typically range 3-8% + small handling charges. Use our fee calculators to preview exact costs.
What is volumetric weight?
Volumetric weight = (Length × Width × Height) / 6000 (cm). If it exceeds actual weight, you pay for volumetric weight — common for bulky sneakers/hoodies.
How to save on shipping?
Combine parcels, remove shoe boxes, use economy lines, and avoid volumetric traps. Our Parcel Combine Optimizer helps.
How do I clean Taobao links?
Use our Link Cleaner — paste any messy Taobao/Weidian link and get a clean ID-based URL instantly.
Which agent is cheapest?
It depends on order value, weight and route. Use Agent Fee Comparison to compare 5 agents side-by-side for your exact order.
Do Chinese sizes run small?
Often yes — especially for US/EU sizing. Always check our Size Deviation Analyzer and measure in CM before ordering.
What to check in QC photos?
Stitching, logo placement, glue, box, tags. Our QC Checklist walks you through 12 points with examples.
Do you store my data?
No server storage. All calculations run locally. Optional feedback is stored in your browser only unless you submit via the form.
